Registration Information and Principal's Welcome

Dear Spain Park Family,

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome each of you to Spain Park High School for another year of academic, athletic, arts, and community service excellence and achievement. Our faculty and staff strive to equip each student with the skills they will need for future success. We are proud of our students and the positive impact they have on our community. We work creatively and diligently to build excellent programs and to provide opportunities for our students to grow and develop into the leaders of the future. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to serve our community and our students during the 2017-20178 school year, beginning on August 9, 2017.  

Please follow the process outlined below to register your student for the 2017-2018 school year:

Step 1:    Please complete the online pre-registration document at http://www.hoovercityschools.net

You must complete this pre-registration process before registering your child during the live registration event. If you are unable to do this before live registration, an opportunity will be provided for you to do so when you arrive at registration.  If your student’s immunizations need to be updated, then you must do that before pre-registration.

Step 2:    If you need to provide updated residency information, please bring a current utility bill with you to the live registration event.

Step 3:    Your student's course selections can be viewed, and all fees can be paid at http://myschoolfees.com.  This site will open for all students on July 18 at 8:00 am.  Please bring your printed receipt from myschoolfees.com to registration.

If you notice a mistake on your child’s scheduled courses, please wait to pay the fees until the correction has been made.  You will have an opportunity to meet with a counselor during registration to make the necessary and appropriate corrections.     

Step 4:    Our live registration event will be held July 25 and July 26, 2017, from 9:00 - 3:00 at SPHS. Please use the entrance to the gym. All other points of entry will be blocked to maintain traffic flow through the event. You may register your child at any time during these two days, and between the designated times.

Step 5:    Student Identification Cards are mandatory for all students and will be made during the registration process. It is imperative that the student attends this event to complete this process.  

We truly appreciate your willingness to partner with us at Spain Park High School in our endeavor to provide your child with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed for future success. It is our goal to make the 2017-2018 school year a productive and successful experience for all of our students.
