Bio

Coach Danny Kimble played for the University of Alabama from 1998 to 2001 and was a member of the 1999 SEC Championship team. He began his coaching career at Litchfield High School in 2002 as the Defensive Backs coach. He returned to the University of Alabama for the 2003, 2004, and 2005 seasons as a graduate assistant for the Crimson Tide. He then became Defensive Backs coach and teacher at Hoover High School for the 2006 – 2009 seasons, where his defenses were instrumental in winning State Runner-Up titles in 2006 and 2008, and winning the AHSAA 6A State Championship in 2009. He then joined the teaching and  football coaching staff at Spain Park in 2010 as Defensive Coordinator and became the Assistant Head Coach of Football Operations in 2011.

He earned his Master of Arts Degree from the University of Alabama in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Jacksonville State University.

Coach Kimble is married to the former Gerri Mitchell. They have a daughter, Morgan, who is 3 years old.
