"No other subject will teach you more about yourself, molding your values and ethics, and leading you in a journey of self discovery than the discipline of history." This quote encapsulates my belief and philosophy in the study of the social sciences and its value to society today. The 2016-2017 school year will mark my sixteenth year in education and my thirteenth year at Spain Park High School.  During my teaching career, I have taught Psychology, Sociology, Law I, US History 11, and World History with my primary concentration in US History 10 (prehistory-Reconstruction). Also, I serve as the head coach of the boys soccer program and hold a National C License from the USSF (United States Soccer Federation) and an Advanced National coaching diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, and spending time with my wife Lauren and our son Jackson. I am currently pursuing a post graduate degree in Instructional Leadership at the Montevallo University. I am honored to serve as a member in this community and work with an outstanding team of teachers, administrators, and students.
